Before you buy: fit first, price second
- Match the exact gun. Holsters are molded to a specific model, barrel length and, often, a specific optic or weapon light. A discounted holster for the wrong configuration is not a deal.
- Check the return window. Some holiday and custom orders have different return terms. Read them before you buy.
- Order a belt that fits your holster. A stiff gun belt sized for inside-the-waistband carry matters as much as the holster.
- Watch shipping cutoffs. Made-to-order holsters can take longer to ship in November and December. If it is a gift, confirm the delivery estimate.
- Expect modest holster discounts. Many carry-gear brands keep prices close to list year-round, so a sale is often a percentage off or free shipping rather than a giant markdown.
