There are many holsters on the market, however Tulster has moved toward the front of the line of quality holster manufacturers.
Note: I have purchased these holsters and magazine carriers over the course of the last year. This review covers how they have functioned and my thoughts after using them almost daily.
Tulster Products I have Purchased:
- Glock 43
- Glock 43 with Streamlight TLR-5
- Sig P365
Echo Mag Carriers:
- Single Stack 9mm
- Double Stack 9mm
Tulster’s holster design is similar to many of the other Kydex holsters on the market, but with some improvements. While they do use high quality Kydex and parts, the most important part of their holster designs are more subtle.
Many Other Colors Available
- Undercut trigger guard
- Works with Quick Clip or Soft loop Kit
- Adjustable retention
- Adjustable cant: 0-30 degrees
- Full sweat shield
- Rounded and buffed edges
- Minimal material
Look and Feel
According to their website “Distinct features such as the matte edge finish and minimal material facilitate in a comfortable fit providing maximum concealment for concealed carry”.
This is why I love Tulster. By minimizing the amount of excess Kydex and providing a minimalist approach, they made a very comfortable and sleek holster.
They also use high quality Kydex and parts that really show. I can definitely tell the difference in my Tulster holster when held next to some of my other Kydex holsters.
Not only do Tulster holsters look and feel good, but they are very functional. The audible “SNAP” with the firearm is placed into the holster let you know that it is not going anywhere until you draw it out.
The ability to slide the holster into position without worry of snags, or of being poked in the wrong spot, make their holsters easy to attach to your belt.
They have also intentionally undercut the trigger guard to promote a higher grip on the firearm when drawing.
While their prices on Amazon are pretty much the same as other higher quality Kydex holsters, you can find their price to be less if you purchase from their website.

So basically, the choice is to decide if you want to order using Amazon Prime and get it in a couple days, or order from their website and save a good chunk of cash.
Many holsters on the market have some of the features that Tulster has, however I think that Tulster has done a great job of getting all these features into one package.
The ability to adjust cant, adjust tension, and use a Quick Clip or Soft Loop attachment…all paired with the high quality materials and the perfect cut of the Kydex make this a top line holster!

- Adjustable retention.
- Rounded and buffed edges.

Mag Carrier Versatility
What I like most about the Echo Mag carriers is their versatility. Meaning you can wear them IWB or OWB, you can use them with the Quick Clip or Soft Loops, and you can adjust the tension and cant with ease…giving your mags more or less grip.
While these mag carriers do fit the most common magazines, they also will fit some that are just outside the norm. Make sure you buy the Double Stack version for both the Glock 36 and the Sig P365.
I own two of these carriers. The single stack 9mm for my Glock 43 and the double stack 9mm version for my Sig Sauer P365. Both have worked flawlessly.
I have went through MANY holsters in my time. There are very few that I use on a regular basis. Tulster is one of my most carried holsters, and their Echo Mag Carriers are almost always carried when I carry compact firearms.
If by chance Tulster holsters are not for you, make sure to view our article covering the Best Concealed Carry Holsters to find one that works for you. Also, be sure to check out our article on Best Concealed Carry Belts to find something to wear your holster on!
The ONE negative I have found is that they are not available in ALL makes and models yet. While there are MANY, a few friends have been left wanting when they couldn’t find one to fit their gun.
