Kore vs Nexbelt: EDC Gun Belts Compared (2026)
Concealed Carry Society · Buying guide · Specifications checked October 25, 2026; Kore listing and prices rechecked October 31, 2026
For a buyer who prioritizes a compact buckle, our specification-based pick is the Nexbelt Supreme Appendix. Choose Kore’s X7 tactical belt if you need its larger listed size range, prefer the X7 design or want the lower listed price.
Both offer small adjustment steps. The more useful buying questions are which buckle fits your clothing and equipment, whether the strap is long enough, and what happens if you trim it before deciding to keep it.
How we compared them: This is a research-based comparison of manufacturer specifications and direct-purchase policies. We have not tested these belts hands-on. We cannot independently rank comfort, stiffness, long-term durability, or resistance to slipping.

Which one should you buy?
Choose Nexbelt Supreme Black EDC for the smaller published buckle. Its standard model lists up to a 50-inch waist. The tradeoffs are less listed sizing capacity and a higher listed price than the Kore configuration.
Choose the Kore X7 tactical belt if you need its listed 24–54-inch range or the lower listed price. The tradeoff is a larger buckle. Confirm your measurement using Kore’s sizing instructions.
Keep your current belt if it already fits and works. These specifications alone do not justify replacing a belt that meets your needs.
Check sizing and return eligibility before trimming either belt. See the specification table and manufacturer sources below.
The two configurations compared
“Kore vs Nexbelt” covers many different products. Here we compare two specific black, 1.5-inch belts: Kore’s X7 tactical gun belt (black reinforced tactical belt with the X7 buckle, sold by KORE Essentials on Amazon) and Nexbelt Supreme Black EDC, also described as the Supreme Appendix. Our verdict does not extend to every belt either company sells.

Manufacturer-listed figures, checked October 25, 2026. Prices exclude tax and shipping and may change. Kore’s size range is as listed for the X7 tactical belt on Amazon; buckle dimensions apply specifically to X7. Sources: Kore product, Kore buckle specifications, and Nexbelt product.
Nexbelt’s thickness is manufacturer-reported, not independently measured; the Amazon listing for the Kore belt does not state a thickness. A published waist range is not the same as overall uncut strap length.
Why we lean toward Nexbelt for buckle size
The Supreme’s published buckle dimensions are smaller than the X7’s.2, 3 If buckle space is your main concern, those smaller published face dimensions are a reason to start your comparison with Nexbelt. The figures are not a standardized measurement of installed protrusion, body contact or usable clearance. It is not proof that it will feel better on your body.
Our recommendation is conditional: buy for the constraint you actually have. If your current belt works and the buckle causes no problem, a few millimeters on a specification sheet are not a reason to replace it.
When Kore makes more sense
Kore’s selected strap has a larger listed standard size range.1 If the standard Nexbelt is too short, eliminate that configuration before comparing price. Nexbelt also sells an XL Supreme, but it is a separate product and should be compared on its own current specifications.
Kore advantages: larger stated standard size range and a lower listed price. Tradeoff: the X7 is larger than the Supreme buckle.1, 2, 3
Nexbelt advantages: the Supreme configuration has the smaller published buckle. Tradeoffs: its standard strap has a lower stated maximum waist size and a higher listed price; a different Nexbelt model may have different specifications.3

Check returns before cutting either belt
This is the purchase detail to read first. Kore’s direct-purchase policy offers a 30-day return window, with items required to be uncut, unworn, unused, and in their original condition and packaging. It excludes cut belts from refunds and exchanges. This guide links Kore’s belt on Amazon, where the listing shows a 30-day refund or replacement; Amazon or the seller may still treat a trimmed belt differently, so check before cutting.4
Nexbelt’s direct-purchase policy accepts eligible returns within 30 days of delivery, also requiring new, uncut, unused items in original packaging. Cut or worn belts and certain sale or customized items are excluded. Customers pay return shipping.5
Read the selected seller’s terms before trimming. Do not interpret either return window as permission to cut the belt, wear it for a month, and return it if you dislike it. Marketplace purchases may follow different policies.
Warranty coverage is different
Kore publishes a one-year manufacturer warranty with proof-of-purchase requirements and exclusions for cosmetic wear or damage.4 Nexbelt’s published direct-purchase warranty covers replacement of defective parts for up to two years; it directs third-party purchasers to their original seller.6
A longer warranty term does not establish that one belt lasts longer. Compare eligibility and exclusions alongside the term.
Price difference: compare checkout totals
At the listed prices checked October 31, the Kore X7 tactical belt on Amazon is $5.04 less than the Nexbelt before tax and shipping. That is a modest item-price difference, not proof of the lowest delivered cost. Check the selected configuration, shipping, any valid promotion and the seller’s return terms before deciding. Buying extra accessories only to meet a shipping threshold may cost more than the shipping charge.
Before placing your order
- Confirm the exact strap and buckle in your cart match this comparison.
- Check both belt width and thickness against your pant loops and holster hardware.
- Use that manufacturer’s sizing instructions. Do not assume both brands use the same trimming allowance.
- Compare the delivered price, including shipping, rather than just the advertised price.

Our recommendation
Start with Nexbelt Supreme Appendix if compact buckle dimensions are your deciding factor. Choose the Kore X7 tactical belt when its larger standard size range or that buckle design better meets your needs.
We would not pay more for either belt based on unverified claims that it is universally more comfortable, stronger, or more durable.
Kore vs Nexbelt FAQs
Is Nexbelt better than Kore?
For these two configurations, the Supreme has smaller published buckle dimensions; the Kore belt lists a larger standard size range and, at October 31 prices, costs less. Neither specification establishes a universal winner for comfort, support or durability.
Are both belts the same thickness?
The Amazon listing for the Kore X7 tactical belt does not state a thickness. Nexbelt lists approximately 3/16 inch, about 4.8 mm. Check both against your pant loops and holster hardware.
Can I return either belt after cutting it?
The reviewed direct-purchase policies exclude cut belts from ordinary returns and exchanges. Check the original seller’s policy before trimming. A defect warranty is a separate process and is not the same as a fit-related return.
Does Nexbelt’s two-year warranty mean it lasts twice as long?
No. A warranty term is not a lifespan measurement. Nexbelt’s reviewed policy covers replacement of defective parts for up to two years on eligible direct purchases; Kore lists one year with its own proof and exclusion requirements.
Will every Kore buckle or Nexbelt strap work interchangeably?
Do not assume cross-brand compatibility or that every series within one brand is interchangeable. Kore lists compatibility boundaries for its 1.5-inch EDC system. Confirm the exact strap, buckle and hardware with the manufacturer.
Should I replace a belt that already works?
No replacement is justified by this specification comparison alone. Consider changing only when you have a definite fit, condition or compatibility problem. Stop using damaged or malfunctioning gear and follow the manufacturer’s support process.
